LIFT Standards conducts comprehensive social audits as third party. The standard procedure includes:

 

§ Opening meeting with top level management,

§ Management Interview and workers interview conducted on and offsite

§ Check against the national labour legislation and the buyer's code of conduct,

§ Review of the documentation with crosschecking and verifying

§ Closing meeting

 

LIFT developed own guidelines, tools and audit techniques.

The report will be submitted after 10 days of ending the audit.

Our audit approach is to visit the factory in a non-conflicting manner and maintain a polite attitude.
