B. Fire safety

Note: with the current different initiatives of Alliance, Accord and the goverment Tripartite National Action (NAP) still an active saftey risk management is necessary on the level of each supplier but as well on the buyer level. Therefore it is recommended to have an 

• initial pyhsical rapid assessment on the construction, fire & electrical risk
• factory management as well as traders / brands need an active risk preparedness activity plan reflecting their awareness, risk allocation task and training measures

A group of qualified architects and civil engineers can be contracted for risk assessments as well as to examine  other assessments.

1. General information:

• Target Group: Compliance in charge, Security in charge, Fire fighting team
• Duration: Half day
• Number of participant: 10 participants / batch
• Venue and mode of training: Classroom and optional on site guideline

2. Objective:

The participants will gain understanding on:

• Concept of fire safety policy
• Fire safety team building
• Training guideline on fire safety
• Required fire fighting equipment
•  Fire evacuation plan and fire drill
•  Fire safety monitoring system

3. Deliverables:

• Fire safety policy
• Training tools
• Record keeping
• Guideline to build a fire fighting team
• Guideline to prepare for fire fighting - evacuation plan, placing fire fighting equipments, emergency exit, emergency light etc.
